What is Propolis?
PROPOLIS is a natural substance consisting of many components.
Bees produce propolis by processing various tree resins, their salivary secretions, pollen, and essential oils from flowers into a resin-like substance. It ensures the protection of the bee colony from viruses, bacteria, fungi, and parasites within the beehive. Propolis has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and immune-stimulating effects, thus preventing germs, bacteria, or fungi from entering the hive. Currently, there are no permitted health claims for humans.
Propolis is not water-soluble in nature, which is why it is usually only available in the form of a tincture for external application to the skin. Now it is finally possible to experience the beneficial properties of propolis inside the body, and with a very high absorption of the beneficial ingredients. We achieve this through our patented formulation technology called MyCell. The propolis molecules are encapsulated by a micelle (water shell), allowing the propolis to be easily absorbed in the intestine.
Normally, the body absorbs fat-soluble substances like propolis very poorly, typically only 3-10% at most. With our MyCell technology, the body can absorb them almost completely.
