Return policy

Since SHOMUGO is a marketplace for online merchants, SHOMUGO is not responsible for returns. For all participating merchants and their online shops (cf. stores), their own return policies apply, which are communicated in the course of the order, at the latest in the course of the shipment or provision of the product/service.

Basically, all orders are subject to a 14-day right of withdrawal according to the consumer protection act. Please note the applicable exceptions such as,

  • Goods and products that have been manufactured/produced according to special customer specifications
  • Quickly perishable goods
  • Sealed goods that cannot be returned for health and/or hygiene reasons once the seal has been broken
  • Goods that have been inseparably mixed with other goods after delivery
  • Sound and video recordings and computer software if the license has been used
  • Goods and services whose price depends on fluctuations in the financial market over which the merchant has no control and which may occur within the return period
  • All digital content made available via downloads and the delivery of which is to be started immediately after the order is placed (waiver of the right of withdrawal)

Who should I contact if I want to return a product?

Please contact the retailer who sold and sent you this product. You will find the relevant information on the respective retailer's website. In this context, please note that by default there is only a 14-day return period from the date of shipment of the goods. Individual retailers may voluntarily extend this period.

Is the return free of charge?

This information can be found under the respective information of the retailer concerned, who must have informed you about the applicable return conditions in the course of the order or delivery. However, it is common that the cost of the return may be charged.
